amazing experience! unique cave room, comfortable bed, newly renovated bathroom. Great location in the Sassi area of Matera. Hosts were kind and available. Easy access with unique door code. Loved it and can't wait to come back!

Grotta Barisano offers a truly unique experience in an authentic setting. The cave room has recently been renovated, providing a comfortable bed and a brand new bathroom. The location in the Sassi area is excellent, offering easy access to the charming streets and attractions of the city. The hosts are friendly and available to assist with any questions or concerns. Guests also appreciate the convenience of a nearby restaurant and breakfast options.

Some guests may find the strong scent of the diffuser to be overpowering, especially if they are sensitive to odors.

The towels were so fluffy and soft that I wanted to take them home with me. They made me feel like I was being hugged by a cloud. Absolutely delightful!

Oh, I just hated having free WiFi, a shared lounge, and air conditioning. It was such a burden to have all these modern conveniences at my disposal.
